Why no bats have feathers

The bat was so happy with those beautiful soft feathers that he soared down close to the ground and then soared way up into the sky, dove down to the ground, and then soared back up into the sky again to fly around in the clouds. And while the happy bat soared up and down the beautiful colors of his feathers reflected against the sky and became a beautiful rainbow. And this is how the first rainbow was born.
